Terms of use

The service

Global Jobs is a job listings service for people looking for work in Lebanon and for verified employers. Using it is free for candidates. Our moderators may verify, approve, edit the visibility of, or remove any account, organisation or job to keep the board safe. The operator's legal name, address and contact details will be published here before public launch.

Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. One account per person.
• Keep access to your email account secure — it is how you sign in. Never share a sign-in code.
• You choose once whether your account is for finding jobs or for hiring.

Rules for candidates

• Apply only with true information and documents that are yours.
• You never pay to apply. If anyone asks you for money, report the job.
• Use employers' information only to apply and correspond about the job.

Rules for employers

• Post only real, current vacancies you are authorised to fill, with an accurate title, description, location and pay.
• Never charge candidates any fee, deposit or cost, and never ask for ID, passport or bank details before making a written offer.
• Keep the process on Global Jobs: do not ask candidates to apply by WhatsApp, Telegram, email or phone in the job text.
• Do not set requirements based on gender, age, appearance, marital status, religion or nationality. Roles legally reserved for Lebanese nationals are allowed only with a legal basis recorded with our moderators.
• When a candidate applies you receive their data as an independent controller. Use it only to assess them for that job, keep it secure, delete it when no longer needed, and never share it or add it to a database without their consent.
• Do not use automated tools to rank or reject Global Jobs applicants without telling them and keeping a person in the decision.
• Recruitment agencies must hold any licence required where they operate, must not charge workers fees, and must name the end employer.

Verification and moderation

Organisations are verified by our moderators before their jobs go live. Jobs may be reviewed before publication (target: 24–48 hours) and again after edits. Automatic checks block contact details in job text and flag fee or discriminatory language for review. We tell employers the reason for any rejection or removal; you can ask our moderators to reconsider.

Reports

Anyone can report a job. We review reports quickly and may remove jobs or suspend organisations. Reporters' identities are not shared with employers.

Content and liability

Employers are responsible for their job postings and hiring decisions. We check employers and jobs but cannot guarantee any job, employer or outcome. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from employers' or candidates' actions.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the new date here; significant changes will be announced in the service. These terms are governed by Lebanese law; the competent courts will be named before public launch.
